Precautions for adjusting the pressure of a four-column hydraulic press

To ensure optimal performance of the four-column hydraulic press, users adjust the pressure during operation. Pressure parameters include nominal pressure, pressing force, and return force. The legal unit of pressure measurement is Pa. It is crucial to prevent any foreign objects from entering the press worktable to avoid accidents. Generally, the following principles should be followed when adjusting the hydraulic press pressure.

1. The system pressure of the four-column hydraulic press cannot be higher than the pump pressure, except when increasing it.

2. Whether to perform a test pressure on the four-column hydraulic press depends on the load. It is automatically generated, not debugged. The given pressure should be the maximum pressure value for normal operation of the hydraulic press.

3. Lower the pressure of the overflow valve, close the throttle valve and the reversing valve in the middle position to close the pump outlet, and debug the overflow valve. The pressure at the pump outlet rises until the required value is reached.

Here's an explanation of the pressure calculation for a four-column hydraulic press: The maximum working pressure of the hydraulic press is the nominal pressure, a constant; the minimum pressure during the working movement of the hydraulic cylinder is the pressing force; the minimum pressure during the return or retraction of the cylinder is the return force. Simply put, first convert the tonnage of the four-column hydraulic press into Kg, then multiply by 9.8 N/Kg to obtain the nominal force of the hydraulic press. Dividing this force by the total working area of the hydraulic press working plunger gives the maximum pressure of the working fluid.
