Hydraulic assembly manufacturers explain the principles and maintenance of hydraulic systems
Hydraulic assembly manufacturers explain the principles and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
Hydraulic assembly manufacturer: What is the principle of a hydraulic system, and why can it generate such a large force?
Hydraulic systems utilize Pascal's Law from fluid statics, transmitting pressure through oil and other liquids to control high pressure with low pressure, similar to a lever principle.
Because liquids are generally very slightly compressible, in fluid statics, liquids are considered incompressible. In an incompressible, stationary liquid, the effect of an external force on one point is instantaneously transmitted to all points in the fluid; this is Pascal's Law.
According to Pascal's Law, in the two interconnected water tanks above, the pressure at any horizontal plane must be equal. When the two pistons are at the same horizontal level, the piston's strong pressure is as follows.
P1=P2;
According to the pressure formula, as shown below:
F1/S1=F2/S2
Both have:
F1/F2=S1/S2=C
It can be seen that the ratio of the pressures on the two pistons is equal to the ratio of the piston areas, regardless of the pressure magnitude. Using this principle, a smaller force can be used to generate a larger force. The trade-off is that the displacement of the smaller force is greater, much like a lever principle.
For example, taking a syringe, after removing the needle tip, gently blocking the air outlet with your hand requires a greater force to move the piston forward. This is the same principle as a hydraulic system.
In hydraulic systems, those using water as the medium are called hydraulic presses, and those using oil are called hydraulic presses. Because the pressure inside a hydraulic press is very high, the pressure difference caused by gravity can be ignored.
Hydraulic systems are used in many places and are easy to operate steplessly and with high precision. For example, one type of jack uses hydraulic principles.
Hydraulic presses are a major application of hydraulic principles, capable of generating pressures exceeding 100 MPa and hundreds of tons of force. They are important equipment in heavy industrial production.
Hydraulic assembly manufacturer: How to extend the service life of hydraulic cylinders?
Hydraulic assembly manufacturer: There are several key points to maintaining a hydraulic cylinder system:
1. Keep the hydraulic oil clean; oil contamination will damage system components.
2. Maintain the amount of hydraulic oil; when the oil level is low, air enters, and the system cannot function properly.
3. Observe whether the cylinder is leaking oil; oil leaks indicate that the seals are damaged. If not replaced immediately, not only will it get oily, but the output will also decrease, and in severe cases, it will not move.
4. Be familiar with the operating sounds of the system. Normal sounds and fault sounds are different. Once an abnormal sound is heard, indicating a fault, immediately troubleshoot to prevent minor faults from causing major damage and losses.
5. Check for loose accident-prone parts and maintain their effective emergency status.
Hydraulic cylinders are very common and are widely used in mechanical equipment. The easily damaged O-rings of cylinders: If the cylinder "O-ring" is worn, the gap between the piston rod chamber and the piston rod chamber on the cylinder will become larger, connecting the two, thus cutting off the return oil passage in the piston rod chamber on the cylinder. In fact, due to the gap connection between the two chambers of the cylinder, the pressure oil in the cylinder chamber tends to flow from the high-pressure area to the low-pressure area. Once this flow occurs, the piston will lose its balance and move to the rod chamber to find a new equilibrium point. This reciprocates, and the piston will not stop until the external force is cut off. The occurrence of this phenomenon has a great impact on the operation of the hydraulic system. After replacing the cylinder piston "O" ring, the unstable operation phenomenon of the oil cylinder will be completely improved, and the service life of the cylinder can be significantly extended.
That's all for today's introduction from the hydraulic assembly manufacturer. Thank you for watching! See you next time!
